So i just wanted to say thank you for those of you who played on our server, work hard to invite all those bruneians to play, and make the community more fun, we appreciate it. Well i played on Essence today, and it seems like the cl_entityflushpacket and 300+ ping disease is gone (Not really confirmed) because i played smoothly on 60+ ping constant (At around 8.30 am today) . So you all might want to try to play at Essence because i need to confirm that the problem is gone.

For those of you who is still using the old non steam counter strike (Protocol 47), please download the latest one (Protocol 48) from here : PART 1 and PART 2

The reason why we decided to upgrade is because to reduce the problems of hackers. On our current protocol which is 47, hackers can still go in after being permabanned by just performing a simple procedure which i will not reveal though. :o So , yeah you only got until 1st of June the latest, and after that only CS P48 will be allowed.
Oh and for steam users, you don't have to download anything since the CS from steam is self updated which means its already in protocol 48.

Hi, and welcome to our blog.
Essence Gaming is a small community of hardcore gamers which consists of people from several teams in Kuala Belait, Brunei Darussalam. We currently rented a server from Malaysia for the benefits of Brunei gamers, especially in Counter Strike, for them to play and socialize with other gamers without having to worry about lag and inconsistency of latency of the server, well maybe sometimes, but it is rare and mainly because of our so called "e-speed" connection.
Also, the main purpose of this blog is to provide a medium for us to announce any information and updates about the server. The server's IP address can be found on the upper left part of this blog.
